Abochi is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his smooth blend of Afrobeats, highlife, and Afro-soul. Born on April 14, 1996, in Ghana, he developed an interest in music at a young age, initially performing for friends and gradually building his craft into a professional career.
He rose to prominence in 2019–2020 with his breakout single “Bestie,” a widely popular track that gained significant radio and television airplay across Ghana and helped establish his presence in the African music scene.
Abochi is recognized for his versatility—not only as a vocalist but also as a producer—often taking an active role in shaping the sound of his music. His style fuses contemporary Afrobeats with traditional Ghanaian rhythms, creating an emotional and relatable sound that reflects everyday experiences and cultural themes.
Over the years, he has released several notable songs, including “Hallele,” “Mama,” “Prison Break,” and “Dance Your Worries Away,” showcasing his ability to move between soulful melodies and upbeat, danceable records.
